Potential Applications of Silicate Solubilizing Bacteria and Potassium Silicate on Sugarcane Crop under Drought Condition

Abstract The decline of soil nutrient status and productivity crops, restoration health is a key global concern. Crop yields are reduced by degradation, which endangers the world's food supply. further decreased improper fertilizers use in conjunction with intense cropping. A wide variety plants, particularly monocotyledonous crops can collect significant levels silicon their organs showing benefits terms growth, biomass, yield, whereas most dicots unable to accumulate enough Si under epidermal system. In present investigation, treatment applying silica solubilizer at rate 12.5 kg 50 FYM/ha sett 0.5% K 2 SiO 3 ,2.5% urea potash foliar spray specified time showed result all growth yield parameters tested when plant its ratoon were drought condition.
